Born Aug. 10, 1841 probably in Pleasant Run, Hunterdon Co. New Jersey.
Arrived in San Patricio, Texas April 1, 1854 with his parents, John and
Eliza Schamp Sullivan. Died March 27, 1863 Bayou Teche, LA.

Ed. Ranchero- A few days ago, the melancholy intelligence of the death of
Chrysostom J. Sullivan, reached his bereaved mother.
The noble boy was killed in a skirmish with the enemy, at Bayou Teche, on Friday, the 27th of March, at about 2 o’clock, P. M.
